Spiritual Shift 5: From Doing more to Delighting more

Description: We can enjoy simply sitting at Jesus’ feet, listening to his words of life. We don’t need to run around frantically trying to ‘make things happen’ by our own strength; God has it all under control. He is mighty to save and will strengthen our hands so that they do not hang limp. Amazingly, as we delight in him, he too delights in us, rejoicing over us with singing. Scriptures: Luke 10:38-42; Zephaniah 3:14-17 Select one of these scriptures and meditate on it. Listening Question: Select one of the scriptures and read it out loud over yourself. Linger in its truths and then personalize it: How is the Father inviting you to delight in his love for you? Prayer Prompts: Pray that scripture back to your Lord as an act of worship.
